My emotions are images stuck in my head. I need to paint to get them out to where I can understand them and share them with others. I portray the human face and figure to give them life and a recognizable platform from which to tell their stories.

Rich interiors and still lifes are constructed by layering and scraping to reveal preexisting stages as in a palimpsest, showing glimpses of the work’s history. Work shown at Soprafina Gallery, Boston & Gardner Colby Gallery, Naples, FL
