Pilgrim Monument/ Provincetown Museum
The 252' granite tower commemorating the Mayflower Pilgrims’ first
landing in America is open for climbing offering the finest views of the
Outer Cape and beyond. See a large-scale model of the Mayflower, a
natural history exhibit honoring local hero and Arctic explorer Donald
MacMillan, a whaling captain’s parlor and living quarters on a whaling
ship. Collections include furniture, art, and decorative objects; maritime
related items include whaling and fishing tools and natural history artifacts.
Exhibits and programming focus on Pilgrims and town history.
